Tesla’s Flying Roadster Proves Freedom Builds the Future
October 16, 2026
On Thursday, Oct. 15, 2026, a car drove upside down and jumped a row of trucks. My first thought was that I've been thinking too small my whole life. My second was to ask what kind of country produces people who would even try something like that.
In this video, I walk through twenty-six American inventions, from the cotton gin to GPS, and what happened in the Soviet Union and Cuba when the government took over. Then I cover President Trump's ten-for-one deregulation order, the Alaska LNG deal with Taiwan, SpaceX catching a booster with its own launch tower, and why I believe the freedom to build is on the ballot this November.
Scriptures in this video: D&C 58:27–28, Jacob 2:18–19, D&C 98:10, Ether 2:10
My opinion is my own. The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is politically neutral and encourages every member to vote.
