The Mountain of the Lord's House: What Isaiah 2 Is Really Describing

Every Latter-day Saint has heard Isaiah 2 applied to the Salt Lake Temple. Prophets and apostles have taught it, and I sustain that and believe it. Isaiah's prophecies seldom have only one fulfillment, though, and this video is about the part of that chapter we have not seen yet.

In this video I walk through what the mountain of the Lord's house actually is, how Isaiah defines his own symbols (mountains are nations, hills are the people in them), why verse three names two capitals instead of one, and why the judging and rebuking in verse four cannot be the Second Coming. Then I put John next to Isaiah, because Revelation 12:10 describes the same kingdom of our God coming into the earth, and the opposition to it is the dragon making war before it can be born.
