The War in Heaven Has Not Happened Yet

I want to hand you four of the ideas from that presentation, so you know what you are stepping into.

• No seal has opened yet. Not the seventh, not the sixth, not the first. Doctrine and Covenants 77 does not say what most of us think.
• The woman in Revelation 12 is not Mary. She is the Church of God, and she is in labor.
• The war in heaven is still ahead of us. The order of events in the chapter rules out the premortal reading.
• The billionaires are digging, but they have not fled. John described that moment. It has not arrived.

I walk through each of these below. What the woman is carrying is in the presentation.

Before the war, there are seven seals. None of them have opened.

I wrote a short study explaining why. It walks through what has to happen before the first seal is broken, and why so much of what people are calling prophecy today is not it. It is free, and I will send it to you right now.

On July 1, 2026, I stood in front of a room in Lehi, Utah, and gave this presentation out loud for the first time. The group was the Sisters of Liberty, and it was filmed by Latter Day Media. Many of them had already read The First Horseman, Donald Trump and Biblical Prophecy before that night. When they heard the material spoken, with the scriptures open in front of them, it landed in a way I did not expect. I have never watched a room respond the way that one did.

Most Latter-day Saints Think We Are in the Seventh Seal

I have had this conversation numerous times with members of the Church, and it always goes the same way. I ask a simple question: what seal do you think we are in right now, the sixth or the seventh? Almost without exception, people answer confidently that we are in the seventh.

I ask them why, and they point me to Doctrine and Covenants 77. Four thousand years from Adam to Christ, two thousand years from Christ to today, so we must be in the sixth or seventh thousand years, and therefore in the sixth or seventh seal. The reasoning seems sound. The conclusion seems obvious.

But look carefully at what the revelation actually says.

“Q. What are we to understand by the book which John saw, which was sealed on the back with seven seals? A. We are to understand that it contains the revealed will, mysteries, and the works of God; the hidden things of his economy concerning this earth during the seven thousand years of its continuance, or its temporal existence. Q. What are we to understand by the seven seals with which it was sealed? A. We are to understand that the first seal contains the things of the first thousand years, and the second also of the second thousand years, and so on until the seventh.”

That revelation describes what the sealed book contains. The book is sealed with seven seals. Inside the book is the record of seven thousand years. But nowhere does it say that opening a seal is that thousand-year period, or that we are living through the seals as time periods. There is a critical distinction between what is inside the book and what happens when the seals are opened.

Now consider verse 10.

“Q. What time are the things spoken of in this chapter to be accomplished? A. They are to be accomplished in the sixth thousand years, or the opening of the sixth seal.”

This verse refers to the events described in Revelation chapter 7. According to a literal reading, the sixth seal opens at the beginning of the sixth thousand years. That would be approximately 1000 AD.

Were the 144,000 sealed at that time? Was there a great multitude standing before the throne in white robes? Were these people who came out of the great tribulation? None of that occurred in 1000 AD. It has not happened yet, because the sixth seal has not been opened yet. Neither has the first.

The seals are not the seven thousand years. The seals are events that occur before the opening of the book containing the seven thousand year history of the earth. I walk through all of it in the video.

Here is another thing. John described the sixth seal like this:

“And the kings of the earth, and the great men, and the rich men, and the chief captains, and the mighty men, and every bondman, and every free man, hid themselves in the dens and in the rocks of the mountains; And said to the mountains and rocks, Fall on us, and hide us from the face of him that sitteth on the throne, and from the wrath of the Lamb.”

— Revelation 6:15–16

The rich men of the earth hide themselves in the dens and the rocks. Watch what is happening right now. The billionaires are building the bunkers. They are buying the land and digging the shelters. But they have not fled to them. They are not yet crying for the mountains to fall on them. The sign John saw is being built in front of us, and it has not arrived. We are earlier in this than most people think.

Revelation 12 Is Not What You Think

The center of the whole Book of Revelation is chapter 12. If you read it in the King James Version alone, you will miss it. The Joseph Smith Translation rearranges the verses and clears up the language, and the meaning changes completely.

John opens the chapter with a woman:

“And there appeared a great sign in heaven, in the likeness of things on the earth; a woman clothed with the sun, and the moon under her feet, and upon her head a crown of twelve stars. And the woman being with child, cried, travailing in birth, and pained to be delivered.”

That woman is not Mary. She is not a constellation. She is not ancient Israel. She is the Church of God, and in these last days that is The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She is in labor because bringing forth the Kingdom of God on the earth is not going to be easy.

And the child she carries is not who most people guess. That is where the presentation goes next, and it is the piece I most want you to hear in full.

One more thing before you watch. When Latter-day Saints read about the war in heaven later in this chapter, we almost always picture the premortal war, when Lucifer and a third part of the hosts of heaven were cast out. That is a natural reading, and I understand why so many of us have taken it that way. But look at the order of events. The woman gives birth. The Dragon stands ready to devour. The woman flees to a place prepared by God. And then the war begins. The war comes after the birth of the kingdom, not before the foundation of the world. I believe the context of this chapter demands a different conclusion, and I lay out the whole case in the presentation.
