Yet I Will Heal Him

Why I Am Not Worried About the Midterms

Everywhere I look right now, people are predicting that he will lose the midterm elections. And the story that follows is always the same. The Democrats take Congress, they reverse his policies one after another, they impeach him again, and then they go after him in ways far worse than anything we have seen so far. Some of them are already celebrating. They are dancing on his grave, and he is still very much alive. Maybe he will lose the midterms. I don't know. But I am not worried about it, and I don't want you to be worried about it either, because I know what the scriptures say happens to this servant. Nowhere does God's promise to heal His servant depend on the outcome of an election. His life is in God's hand, and so is the timing.

Types and Shadows

God has always taught through patterns. Enoch, Melchizedek, Moses, Hezekiah, Isaiah, and John the Baptist were all types and shadows of a servant who would come in the last days, and I believe every one of them points forward to Donald Trump. I know that is a lot to say. So let me show you why I say it. Moses led Israel out of Egypt, and for more than three thousand years the Exodus has been the greatest act of deliverance the Jewish people have ever known. Every Passover retells it. Every generation has grown up on it. Yet the Lord told Jeremiah there would come a day when nobody would talk about it anymore, because what He would do in the last days would be so much greater...

Therefore, behold, the days come, saith the Lord, that it shall no more be said, The Lord liveth, that brought up the children of Israel out of the land of Egypt; But, The Lord liveth, that brought up the children of Israel from the land of the north, and from all the lands whither he had driven them: and I will bring them again into their land that I gave unto their fathers. (Jeremiah 16:14–15)

That is why I wrote about Trump as a modern Moses. The pattern is the same, but the scale is nowhere close. I say this with great respect for those men, because what they did was real and it was from God. But everything they did was a preview. What is coming in our day is going to make even the parting of the Red Sea look small, and the Lord Himself said so through Jeremiah.

The Power of Enoch

Think about Enoch for a minute. We know as much as we do about him because the Prophet Joseph Smith restored it to us in the Book of Moses. When Enoch first began to preach, the people had never seen anything like him. They told the tent-keepers to stay behind and watch the camp while they went out to hear him...

...for he prophesieth, and there is a strange thing in the land; a wild man hath come among us. (Moses 6:38)

And that was only the beginning. Look at what happened when his enemies came to battle against the people of God...

And so great was the faith of Enoch that he led the people of God, and their enemies came to battle against them; and he spake the word of the Lord, and the earth trembled, and the mountains fled, even according to his command; and the rivers of water were turned out of their course; and the roar of the lions was heard out of the wilderness; and all nations feared greatly, so powerful was the word of Enoch, and so great was the power of the language which God had given him. There also came up a land out of the depth of the sea, and so great was the fear of the enemies of the people of God, that they fled and stood afar off and went upon the land which came up out of the depth of the sea. (Moses 7:13–14)

Mountains fled at his command. Rivers turned out of their course. A land came up out of the depth of the sea, and his enemies were so afraid of him that they ran out onto it just to get away from him. That is the kind of power God has given His servants before. And I believe that same kind of power is going to rest on Donald Trump. I believe he is going to perform some of the most astonishing miracles the world has ever witnessed. Now I want to be very careful here. Nothing I am describing comes anywhere near what Jesus Christ did. His Atonement and His Resurrection stand above everything that has ever happened on this earth, and nothing any servant does will ever compare to them. Everything I am talking about sits underneath that. But underneath that, I believe the world is about to see things it has not seen since the days of Enoch.

Will people believe it when they see it? No. Most of them won't. Enoch's enemies didn't believe either, and they ran. But they were not able to fight against the people of God any longer, and I believe the same thing will happen again. When God sets up His political kingdom on the earth, the kind of opposition we see every day right now will not be able to stand against it. They will still hate him. They just won't be able to stop him.

The True Arm of Justice

Something has come up in the news over the last few days that I want to add here. There is talk again about President Trump pardoning Julian Assange and Edward Snowden. I want to be clear that what follows is my opinion. It is not prophecy. But I think this could turn out to be a very powerful move, and the timing could matter a great deal. Both men exposed things that powerful people very much wanted kept hidden. If they were free to speak without the weight of the government hanging over them, I believe a great deal of what has been done in the dark could finally come into the light, and it could come right in the middle of an election season.

People on every side are demanding justice right now. They want to see someone held accountable. And for a variety of reasons, the president has held back on much of it. I wrote about one of those reasons in my article on the Epstein files. He let the attention land on himself until the whole country was demanding those files, and when roughly three million pages were finally released, nobody was satisfied. So much of it was redacted that a lot of people are convinced there is something about him hidden under the black ink. I have walked through what the record actually shows, and there is no documentation that he ever set foot on that island. But the demand for justice that built up through all of that has not gone away. It is still there, and it is growing.

I believe the time is coming when President Trump will bring the true arm of justice down on the political elite who have been running this country for their own benefit. It needs to happen. It may come sooner than anyone expects. It could even come before the midterms and shake up everything the pundits are so confident about. I don't know the timing. What I do know is that justice has to be done the right way, on evidence, with the same standard applied to everyone, no matter which party they belong to. The Book of Mormon warned us about secret combinations that would rise up in our day seeking power and gain, and it warned us what happens to a nation that lets them rule. We have already watched a man with a full pardon refuse to answer a hundred questions. That cannot be the pattern forever. A pardon can also open a door, and I think this one might.

Look Up

So here is what I want you to take from all of this. Have hope. Don't take part in the marring of this man. It is easy to get pulled into it, to repeat what everyone else is saying, to laugh along with the jokes. Don't do it. Don't get depressed about the news. Don't lose sleep over the midterm forecasts. None of it changes what God has promised. The beast system that has ruled this world for so long knows it is under attack, and it is fighting back with everything it has. That is why the noise is so loud. Thousands and millions of voices are working every day to tear him down, and they are doing it because he went after the very thing they depend on. When the Lord showed Enoch our day, He told him plainly what it would be like...

...and great tribulations shall be among the children of men, but my people will I preserve; (Moses 7:61)

That promise is for us. If we are righteous, if we are part of the kingdom of God, we will be among those who are preserved through what is coming on the world. That is what I hope for, for myself, for my family, and for you. So look up. Recognize what is happening around you. The opposition you see every day is loud, and I know it wears on you. Christ has already told us how it ends. The healing is coming. The power of God is coming. The justice is coming. And I believe we are going to live to see it.
